January Meeting 2019

January's meeting was pretty eventful.

Paper Piecing, Block for January is on page 163, block number 278 and if you missed it December was on page 101, block number 153.

Kim shared with us the idea for glue basting with a product she highly recommended.  Also shared some templates for a bag that she is jazzed about.

Retreat coming in May, if you are interested, please see Jan.

The UFO Challenge and Quilt 3 Challenges ended:

Kate won the quilt 3.
Lori and Kate won the UFO challenge and decided to split the winnings.

Thank you!  You know I just turned around and bought a ruler and a bit of fabric.

Cathy shared with us her finished Log Cabin Quilt that Hamlin did together as a group.  We decided that we may interested in doing the same.

The challenges for the next six months will be to do a past project and finish it or start it and finish it.  The patterns are in the Yahoo Group.

Pictures below are totally mixed up.  Instead of trying to get them all in order I figured it was best to just get this posted.

This is a cap that has a fine tip that fits on the bottle below.

Make sure you  use the blue label. That little square is blue.

Lila asked us what could be done with her Mother's amazing crocheted table cloth.  Kim suggested backing with a solid and quilting it.
